Effete pretty-boy UK synth-wimps usually don't lift my skirt, but this was one of my favourite singles back then, and I think it still holds up quite nicely.

That's one of the Big 3 of '80s Pop IMO. It's flawless. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

My favorite of theirs, too. I never liked them for years but got into them recently. I'm not saying I'm hoping for a revival, but I like their hits.

They already started the revival, and it's been great! Everybody Loves a Happy Ending, their comeback album, was one of the best of 2004 IMO. I love "Head Over Heels" as well, but "Everybody Wants to Rule the World" is my favorite (with "Sowing the Seeds of Love" after that). HOH would be #3. So I take it you don't strut your stuff to Erasure? There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Memories shared serve each one differently

Oh yeah!...best thing they ever did, IMO. This was the song that made me want to learn piano. [Edited 10/30/06 14:36pm]
