Doesn't kramar's book explain everything and who played what? Nah, it's been documented in SEVERAL books on Hendrix that Jimi not only played on "Spanish Castle" but many other tracks as well. That's one of the reasons there was friction between Jimi and Noel. Noel's playing was stiff as a nail. So he couldn't begin to even TRY to fuck with a groove like "Little Miss Lover" and "Spanish". What tracks did jimi play on 'axis' and do you mean overdub or the full track? If you listen carefully the bass on alot of 'Hendrix experience' tracks is excellent, wouldn't you agree? What about 'fire'?

And then of course, there would have been no Ohio Players, no Parliament, no,...well, u get the picture. They would have had to do something else besides trying to fill the void Hendrix had left. And that damn near includes all of the early to mid 70's funk bands AND rock bands. Hendrix was THAT potent. I can't imagine George Clinton as a follower rather than a leader, but you're right, he probably would have been if Jimi was still around--Sly too (running at full steam), for that matter Goerge said he followed the beatles and got his musical direction from them.

I'm not saying Noel didn't record on anything. But there are certain cuts that Jimi played bass on. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."
