Mo Better Miles... Did Miles Davis ever see the movie "Mo Better Blues" (Spike Lee)? If so, do you think he could relate to the character portrayed by Denzel Washington? I know a little about his life, and when I watch the movie, I can't help but to ask myself that.

I think Miles would relate better to "Round Midnight" Better overall IMHO."Mo Better Blues" was missing a certain kick to it IMHO.much Props to Terrance Blanchard though.the film could have been a tribute His Pops or to Charlie "Bird" Parker.many Jazz Cats come to mind when I think about it.but the film didn't bring the full goods IMHO.What do you think...? Yeah, there were a lot of things that were lifted off the autobiography. just altered a little, a few tips here and there.
Really wonderful music by Branford and Terence by the way. "Say Hey" is a favourite, it's actually quite a lot akin to Herbie's "Eye of the Hurricane". | |
