Michael Jackson Invincible was 5 years ago where's the new album?
It's stange that I'm wondering this lately. I put Invincible on a week ago after not listening to ANY MJ for about three years. And I think it's a great album. There's only 2 songs I don't like (Cry and Lost Children). So where's the new album? Is he recording a new one or what? I haven't heard, but then again I haven't cared to find out until now.

he's in the studio and is expecting to realse a new album in 2007, some rumors are saying as early as spring 2007.
Michael also had a album ready to be relased in 2004, but when the trail went down, Jackson decided to can the project and start again after the trail.

Yeah, Break Of Dawm is fantastic. I was amazed at the quality of the music, i had been listening to newer albums recently and when I put this one on it really served to point out how much POP R&B has (further) declined since 2001. I think MJ, Prince and Janet (haven't heard the new album yet though) are the only ones around who could put out quality POP R&B. Of course there are some others that can put out quaity straight R&B like Anthony Hamilton, Slapbak, Bigg Robb, Amp Fiddler, Bootsy and Funkilinium, but were talking POP R&B here... Blame Sneddon for it being 3 more years probably before Michael's next CD comes out, cus Michael has to get those 3 years back with focusing on being a perfectionist nut, and picking out songs, and renting out expensive studios and yada yada yada...I would LOVE a new Michael disc in 2007, but I think it will probably come in like 2009 or 2010.

He's really not as bad as his fans make him out to be. He can record albums very quickly he did Thriller in 2 months, and he did HIStory in 5 months. So when he wants to get it done he will, and keep in mind he had albums ready to go in 1999 (he ended up trashing the album becasue he didnt like it) and album ready to go in 2004 ( but after the trail happed, he trashed that one as well)

I mean, 6,5 studio-albums in the last 27 years...

You guys are tripping. Aside from a few songs the record was garbage. His first mistake was letting Rodney Jerkins produce it. I heard that he turned down the neptunes "rock your body" and it went to Justin. What Michael needs to do is get a reality check. he fucked himself by even naming the CD invincible.

"Rock Your Body" is a good song...certainly better than some of the Rodney Jerkins tracks like "Heartbreaker".

I'm no fan of the album either. It was the first of his that I passed on. Butterflies was pretty, but eh...

I consider it childish to call others "tripping" instead of acknowledging that folk have different tastes. But hey, it's the internet...

The difference is I made a general statement that wasn't too offensive. You targeted me with a rude gesture. Yea it is the internet- easy to hide behind these purple wordz.

Break Of Dawn
Heaven Can Wait Rock My World Butterflies Don't Walk Away Cry Don't Walk Away is a very underrated song. It would've been an excellent single, with major chart potential.

That's the only Michael Jackson album I don't have and don't plan on getting. I was proud of him in 1995 for continuing to make funk when everyone else had sold out to mid tempo shit hop and all ballad albums. With "Invincible" he finally sold out. If the next one is like it, I won't buy it either. Andy is a four letter word.
