God, I love that tune!  
Sometimes I think I'm just being sentimental...but perhaps we're right: indeed the best stuff came out in the 80's! (Heck, a lot of the stuff I like best these days comes from artists who started out then!) I like the comment someone wrote on YouTube: "best guitar song ever", I can't think of a better one.
