Jazy Z's new single...

Have you guys heard it yet? I'm not a fan of his at all but I am underwhelmed so far. Is it me or does it sound exactly like Kanye West's "touch the sky"?

Yeah i have to agree, very unimpressed with this song, im hoping the album packs more of a punch from him, its very Kanye "touch the sky" or Puffys new song "feel so good", so if thats who Jay has become, i guess thats who has become

that's so funny that you mentioned diddy's song sounding like touch the sky too cuz i think it does as well. why has that track become some sort of hip hop standard? i's not even all that imo.

what do you think of the diddy album? i think it's hot!

The "Show Me What You Got" song is ok, but doesn't do much for me. Now the B-side, "Kingdom Come", may go down with some of my all-time Jigga songs. That one is worth the hype- we'll see how the album is.

can you or someone else explain to me how he is considered one of the greatest rappers of all time? what about Melle Mel yo? his flow was tight and he enunciated his words. something most rappers don't/can't do!

Jay-Z is a running, rapping advertisement. Its all naming brand names with him. Lil' Kim does the same thing with less finess. He is highly overrated in my opinion. I guess you have to be from "neu yawk" to appreciate him fully.

unkemptpueblo

His flow doesnt match the track at all. Its like he's just cramming words into the verses, and it doesnt matter if they fit. Kinda yuk.

Oh yeah, and like Blaque Knight said, "too many drum fills". Its trying too hard to be grandiose.

It took about 10 minutes 2 throw this track together. These producers are getting real LAZY, yet the public keeps buying.

When I saw the video during MNF last week, I too was underwhelmed. The song is way too busy. There is just too much going on to focus on anything. The sample doesn't fit the vocals. I just kept thinking of Rump Shaker by Wrecks n Effect. It's not much of a song to make a big comeback to.
