My friend and I (who happens to be white) were having a discussion about our perception of women. (I'm black) A girl would walk by the hall in our dorm;

"The girl would have; Huge breast, Nice, Big, Round Butt and a stomach that isn't totally flat, but she had a lil' pouch."

What I would consider a Coke bottle shape.

I thought she was ideal, besides the fact, that she's a nice girl, I thought her body was beautiful.

My friend disagreed; he thought she was too big!

"Another girl walked by; tall, slender, nice breast (about a B or C cup) She was very skinny, like most runway models. She didn't have much butt and you could see the outline of her hip and Pelvis bone."

My friend said; "Now she's ideal!"

I disagreed I thought she was anorexic looking, and I thought she needed to eat something. Still, she's a sweet girl also.

My question is; I've noticed that Black Men and White Men have almost opposite tastes when it comes to Women in general. Black Men 'tend to' like their women with some meet on their bones (not obese, but what we call 'thick'). On the other hand, White Men 'tend to' like their Women thinner, yet curvy.

Why is that...? It just amazes me how differently Races can view things. Here's an example;

i'm a white guy, also into skinny women...always have been. i've dated some not-so-skinny women, too, so it's not like i hold out for the thinnest ones...if the woman is fit and active, then size becomes less of an issue to me. it's the ones who wanna hang around and do no physical activity all day that i stay away from. she doesn't have to go on a 50 mile bike ride with me every day, but i don't want to be with someone inactive who's permanently parked on the couch in front of the tube all day.

I never noticed men having those preferences. I think maybe it's something like they're attracted to whoever played role model as mother in their life. I've heard that before, but I don't really think that's true because many men I know do not have girlfriends or wives that look like their mothers. But maybe in a sense it could be that the female they are with reminds them (for some reason) of their mother, if that saying is 'true'.

I see many, many men...I live in a mostly 'hispanic' and 'Black' community, and I see many men drool over women who look like that woman on the link. They would be like "Dam*!!!" if they saw her, no joke. I see it being done all the time. And she would get a lot of looks and stares. She will be considered an attractive female because of the size and shape of her body.

Okay, now that I really think about it, I really don't see white men coming out with expressions like that. I hate getting into these racial things because I think we're just all in the same boat when it comes to these matters. The preference of a man is whatever type of woman attracts them to their unique and particular senses. Guess we're all special like that, that is, in appearances, preferences, and thoughts, and whatever! Get my drift? Peace.

girls such as in the link u gave above are what i called FAT.
i don't think those girls with their bones showing are attractive in anyway. girls in my school, especially the Guyanese/Trinidadian are Skinny!! their finger bones,their ribs, everything is so dsigusting and avaliable looking.

i also think that weight should go in heigth. i don't think girls who are small in height should be what u consider thick but slim or near-slim(which is me,imho).

I completely understand this thread. You can just look at videos to see the difference. Black and Hispanic men just like a more curvy, feminine looking woman. I don't understand the waif, heroin addict look. That is so unattractive. The "alley mcbeal" look seems unhealthy and very boyish looking.
