Weird Al's Straight Outta Lynwood

OMG! I have been hearing a lot about this album, I had to pick it up. To my pleasure I was not disappointed...its very good. Trust me X 3 this is a great Weird Al Album. I was laughing so hard at several of the songs. Apparently this is his first album to ever hit the top 10. It's not hard to see why, the songs are really good even if you don't know the songs they parody, which I didn't.

Highlights:

White and Nerdy - the first single. It's a cover of a rap song. Hilarious. Video is even better.

Pancreas - SIGH..special is all I can say about this song. Only Wierd AL could write a song so brilliantly about his pancreas. It's like Beach Boys meet They Might Be Giants

Polkarama - like all of the polka mish mashes he does, this one does not disappoint. Even got Drop it like it's hot in there.

Weasel Stomping Day - That specail song for any time of the year! WOrth the price alone and it's the shortest song.

Trapped in the Drive Thru- It's a take on Trapped in the closet by R Kelly. It's 10 minutes plus. I laugh even harder the more I play it. It's painful in all respect. Similar in tone to One more minute or at least that's what it reminds me of. It's about a guy and his wife who go out for food through a drive through and it's wonderful.

DOnt download this song - Or next thing you know you'll be doing crack and holding up liquor stores. Go AL!

Oh and it's on Dual DIsc so you get a DVD version witht he album in 5.1, Kareoke versions of the songs, 6 animated videos and the Featurette - Making of. Cheers thanks a lot!

I was a little disappointed by the CD...I adored "White and Nerdy", "Pancreas" and "Trapped in the Drivethru", but a lot of the others I didn't really like.

And the DVD that came with it kinda sucked. WHere was the awesome "White and Nerdy" video??? neutral

the DVD doesn't have the video? I thought that's why it kept getting removed from youtube.
