It's Madonna on a cross! big whoop! They'll show her whipping her dancers and doing a sexy lap dance on that revolving saddle, which is WAY more racier than her strapped to the corss, which was boring IMO. They better at least show the footage of the video screens during the song.
I agree.I don't see what the big fuss is about.I've seen the show two times and imo,the crucifixion scene isn't the least bit offensive. This is just another example of people over-reacting to something that Madonna does.I swear, this woman generates controversy no matter what she does, lol.

I don't even remember what this segment of her show was supposed to be about, and I'm sure it was well intentioned and all, but the image of Madonna on a Cross is so vague, in itself it says nothing specific really. It just seems like a generic attempt to yank people's chains, but it was poorly thought out.
Madonna has a reputation among conservatives as being a huge whore. When they see a picture of the "whore" perching herself on a cross, they get all spastic. I'm irritated that the segment is being edited out, only because I don't really find it offensive in comparison to other things they're showing on TV (like Rosie ODonnell getting it missionary style on The View).
