Well, folks, now she's suing the papers. What she hasn't, I think realised, is that the papers are now going to get REALLY nasty. http://uk.news.yahoo.com/...laims.html Heather Mills McCartney is to sue two newspapers over "false, damaging and immensely upsetting" statements surrounding her divorce from Sir Paul, according to her lawyers. Solicitors Mishcon de Reya named the the Daily Mail and the Evening Standard as the subject of legal proceedings. Legal action will also be taken against The Sun. In a statement, Heather's legal representatives said she had been vilified in the media and was now being stalked by photographers. They said the 38-year-old could not afford to sue all the newspapers she wanted to. "Her time and resources are not infinite. She cannot sue - for now, at least - every single newspaper that has published false, damaging, and immensely upsetting statements about her. "She should not thereby be taken to have accepted that these statements are true." The storm over the McCartneys' increasingly bitter divorce began last Tuesday when legal papers were leaked to the press. The document, apparently prepared by Mishcon de Reya in answer to Sir Paul's divorce petition, contained allegations that he mistreated his wife during the couple's four-year marriage. The ex-Beatle, through his lawyers, insisted he would "vigorously" defend himself against the claims. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. I don't for a minute believe he hit Linda. She wouldn't have put up with it. I'm sure Paul can be verbally nasty, but hey - can't we all? As for Heather - she apparently tape recorded Paul screaming abuse at her. Sounds like entrapment to me. There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And no one is lying. Like many, I'm sure Paul still enjoys smoking weed and I bet he does it often, if not daily. I highly doubt he gave it up. He just says he did for the media's sake. | |

He just says he did for the media's sake. he was interviewed after the arrest and he said he'd never do it again, and gave a huge wink to the camera. Very cool. But when he got with Heather he said he didn't so much just because she didn't, and it wasn't fun sneaking out to an alley by yourself. But I bet he had trouble quitting, and she probably didn't like it. But he's Paul fer crissakes! He's required to be baked! My Legacy
