AW HELL TO THE NAW!!!!!!! CULTURE CLUB

It seems that they have brought back the original members of Culture Club minus Boy George.

The band consists of Phil Picket, Mikey Craig, John Moss and Sam.

His name is Sam Butcher! That`s all i know, there`s an interview on youtube...

The Culture Club is history, and even if Boy George cleaned up, it still wouldn`t be the same.

They achieved so much in the 80s, they should just be happy with that...

Their first reunion and VH1 concert was very good. They had a couple of good songs on the reunion album too.

Oh well.

Just floggin a dead horse IMO. Culture Club was part of a time & place , the 80s. No point in bringing this back,& it looks like only 2 of the orignal members.

"Strange Voodoo" makes me weep. It's the exact words that I would have written to the EX, that counted.

How can I help you boy when I can barely help myself?
I'm useless now as I have always been
Just like some worthless love song dying on the radio
We talk in circles 'til we don't know what we mean

Ain't no happy ever after, ain't no big dark man
Ain't no perfect situation, can't you understand

Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo

How can I love you boy when you don't even love yourself?
I'm useless now as I have always been
Your lying eyes, your thieving hands, you're such a rogue at times
But you will always be a part of me

Ain't no happy ever after, no big dark man, no no
Ain't no perfect situation, ain't no master plan

Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo
Strange, strange voodoo
Loving you is some strange voodoo

Heh-he

Ain't no happy ever after, no big dark man, no no
Ain't no perfect situation, can't you understand

Loving you is some strange voodoo
Loving you strange voodoo
Loving you strange voodoo
Loving you strange voodoo

Strange voodoo
Strange voodoo

It`s interesting how some songs, or some lyrics feels like they were written just for you, i know i have many songs i feel that way about.

there is a reason why he's called sam butcher.
he came to butcher the band.
this band is history either way, i hate it when bands or people(billy corgan) dont get over the fact that they will never be popular again.

I tend to agree with you.Don't get me wrong,I love the idea of old bands reuniting. On a recent thread,I argued that the Commodores should do a reunion tour with Lionel Richie. But in the case of Culture Club,I'm not sure.It never really works without the original lead singer, does it?

Culture Club without Boy George is like The Time without Morris Day.
Andy is a four letter word.

Hahahahah!!

That reminds me of something my best friend used to say about the BRADY BUNCH.
"Sam the butcher and Alice the butchest." I guess you wont get it unless you used to watch the Brady Bunch.....

it's like blondie without debbie harry. i know the guys in the band have their fans, but what's the point without the person who is the band's whole identity? i might actually be interested in seeing what's left of culture club if they changed their name and got a new look/sound, and incorporated culture club songs into their repertoire. it would be less insulting.
