There's no logical reason for him not to go in. His stats are better than Gayle Sayers (and he's in), so I guess there's no reason for him to be excluded. Plus, Elway never won a Super Bowl til Davis came along.

I don't think he should get in before Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders. 2000 yard seasons or not
