I WAS IN A LENNY KRAVITZ MOOD THIS PAST WEEKEND SO I PULLED OUT SOME OF HIS CD'S. THE MAN HAS SOME SERIOUS FUNK ROCK GROOVES. THOUGHTS ON HIS MUSIC AND MUSICIANSHIP ANYONE?

I have been a fan of Lenny's since the days when he was known as Romeo Blue, before he married Lisa Bonet. Lenny has come a long way baby! I truly believe this man has artistic talent and writes some beautiful, meaningful songs, but I also think that he has become far too commerical. I have seen Lenny in concert 3 times. I did not go this time around as his latest cd does not impress me too much. It's ok, but it lacks the edge of his previous releases. On the other hand, I am glad to see that he is finally getting the recognition he deserves. Up until a couple of years ago, he was not overly respected and it certainly is nice to see that he is now. However, he is popping up all over the place and I think he needs to lay low for a while and work on new material that has the same substance as his first 3 cd's. I also must say that he is one of the sexiest men around and he really seems like a decent down to earth guy.

His album "Circus" is one of my favorite albums of all time. Totally underrated.

I am a total Lenny fan. He rocks my world.

I have all his CDs. My fav is Mama Said.

If you really want funk-ay, check out "Freedom Train" from Let Love Rule (also an excellent CD).

The man is hella cool.

He really should get more attention than he does. He is very creative and his positive vibes are overwhelming.

His new stuff is bad 70's rock. I'm still waiting for Lenny's "Purple Rain" album of rock and funk. Someday maybe.

His 3rd Album is the Closes thing He has done kinda overall that I Will give Him any Props on.He is a Hybrid Formula Driven Cat that I Just find to Be as Average as Average can be.almost like a Record Executive Dreamed Him Up&said I can make this Guy a Star? I Like a Few of His Songs but He is Overrated to Me.not bad Live but I've said Before&I'll say again Cindy Blackmon for my Money is the best thing associated with His Name IMHO.
