Wall Street:the Movie

now that George Bush has came out&said that all CEO's are gonna be Held accountable for what they do how might have the Film "Wall Street" Be seen were it coming out today? did you enjoy this Film when it came out&has it aged well?? thoughts:

When I did English language training in Toulouse, we used parts of this video for vocab & listening comprehension for our trainees..

It was a pretty good movie, & in many ways I think it did epitomize the "ME decade" that often was the 80s. A lot of people remember Michael Douglass' "Greed is good" speech from this movie..
this movie also re-inforced for me why I'd never have a financial job like that.. all those temptations, all the power trips & deception.. a lot of stuff..
& for what?
Money?

Well, Oliver Stone's take on a lot of stories is..
unique, to say the least-
he really did a job on pro football in "Any Given Sunday"-
but usually entertaining.
