The reason this bothers me, is mainly its to take advantage of your core fans, lets be real if they duet the only people that will buy it are the same people that bought the first version "YOUR LOYAL FANS". Im so sick to death of people holding back tracks so they can double their sales on a re-issue. Its just so frustrating that JD cannot deal with the fact that all artists have "their day" or their few years" where they are everything, its just the way the world goes, NO ONE stays on top forever, u cannot be the "shit" forever, and when you cannot accept that you look like a bigger fool.

more importantly... a lesson for all the Jacksons you don't stay on top by doing the same thing over and over!

I remember when M.Js "You rock my world" came out, people were saying that he was stuck in the 80s, that he used the same formula, but personally, i didn`t see it that way, in fact, the whole album didn`t sound like anything he`s done before.

I love Mariah and I love Janet. Separately. I so don't want this to happen. Do their voices even compliment each other? I guess it could be like the Making Love in the Rain arrangement. If it didn't happen before the album was officially released the first time, maybe it's not supposed to happen.

Well now, that is what I call unfair - a genuinely gifted singer pitted against someone who increasingly sounds like she currently gets her vocal training from a software program. Elephant against a mosquito. Mariah by first note TKO. That dwarf really is an idiot. Can anyone tell me how the twerp even got a job outside the circus?

I just hope Mariah tells him (them) hell no. She just got her career back on track. She's only got a good five or 6 years left herself to do the type of songs she's doing now before she'll have market to a more mature audience.

And I don't care if JD The Troll did give her some songs that got her career back on track. It's Mariah's ability to carry a tune that helped what would have been a bunch of mediocre R&B/hip-hop songs to sound more pop oriented and thus marketable to a larger audience.


And I am not a big Mariah fan by any stretch of the imagination.

no it didn't necessarily sound like anything HE had done before, but "You Rock My World" in particular sounded exactly like half a dozen songs from the previous year that were hits. "The Boy Is Mine," "If You Had My Love," "If I Told You That," etc.

What good would that be? Janet achieving a hit riding on Queen of charts, Mariah's coattail.
It probably wouldn't do well anyway. Everyone would be able to see right through Janet's desperation and wouldn't support it. Besides, how can a powerful vocalist sing along with someone who whispers all her songs? It would essentially be a Mariah tune given that you wouldn't be able to hear Janet.

Mariah's voice is a perfect compliment for a mature male voice. It worked great with Boys 2 Men,Trey Lorenz, and B.McNight...

Mariah's voice can be just as annoying as janet's maybe even more... only time her voice sounds nice is when she hits those high notes.. other than that... its okay... and janet sings in one octave... the lowest one...

janet should do a duet with ciara....

honestly, at this point, she should just let Ciara be Janet. their 2 most recent videos are straight from the Janet Jackson mold, except strangely, Ciara's is more Janet than Janet's (and works better). they both suck, but Ciara makes for a better Janet at the moment than Janet does.
