Can a Song Be Considered "Sexy"?

Sometimes I hear a song and think to myself, "Ooooh, that's sexy!" Maybe not so much the lyrics, but just the vibe of the song itself. Which leads to my question: Can a song really be sexy, or is sexy just in the ear of the person listening to it? Your comments, please.

I feel a song can be sexy. Depends on how the person is singing it

We will probably all find different things in a song that are sexy just as we find different things in people that are.

Sure, it can be a lyric. Sometimes it's that alone that sells a song and makes the singer appear sexy. But a sexy lyric with the wrong person singing it, would probably not translate. I agree, it's mostly the overall way something is delivered that makes it sexy.

This is an interesting topic. Now I'm wondering what the universal or at least semi-universal things are that we find sexy. Outside of the sexual stuff...that's too easy. Besides, that's usually not the sexiest.

Is it sincerity? vulnerability? Is it a voice type? is it the more overtly sexual?

Ofcourse! I use the word sexy to describe lots of songs just because I can't think of any other better word to describe it...like as someone mentioned earlier "Adore" is very sexy..so is "Pink Cashmire"..Sade's "No ordinary love"...Sheena Easton's "Sugar Walls"...these songs just drip with sex don't they? razz

oh, yeah, Rope burn. That´s probably the best Janet track.
