Ziggy Stardust 30th Anniversary Edition

Forgive me if this has been covered before...but, I just got a copy of the Ziggy Stardust 30th Anniversary Edition...it is a MUST!
It does have some of the same bonus tracks that the regular CD has (but were not on the original LP "Velvet Goldmine," etc.)
It's one of my favorite albums of all time anyway, but in the digitally remastered tracks you can hear sooo much more going on...just like on the back of the LP says...it is "to be played at maximum volume..."

Anxiety

At first I thought it was nothing more than a pricey "coming soon" advertisement for his next round of "best-of" anthologies and the $400 Ziggy Stardust book...after all, the extras on this thing have been around before, on the Ryko releases...but once I had a REALLY good listen to it, I realized this thing sounds better than ever. I'm glad to have it, even though NOW I have two copies of the same album...oh well...you can never have enough Bowie, I say...

Now, I'm waiting for the new Bowie videos DVD that's supposed to come out next month...yum yum yum.

I thought the same thing about the re-release...and now I have a vinyl copy and two cd copies of the album...but, I have to say that this is probably the best sounding remastered CD that I have ever heard. The only thing that comes close to it were those remastered mega vinyl LPs that started coming out in the mid-90s (I know that there were some Hendrix releases) some of those had better sound quality than a lot of cds I have heard.
