Trivia Night, one hit wonders I went to a Trivia Night last night and it was fun. The only thing that I did really well with myself was One Hit Wonders. I went with my sister and some friends and my sister did OK. I got nearly all of them expect for "Rebirth Of Slick (Cool Like That)". I only got the "Cool LIke that" part and didn't get the name ofthe band. It was of course Diggable Planets, not A Tribe Called Quest. I knew it was some cool name like that. I also mixed up Young MC as MC Young. My sister kept questioning it. I also totally missed some song called "I Want To Be Adored" (the sound quality was terrible, too). It was fun. Anyone else around here do that kind of stuff and do well at it?

That was one of the questions but they asked for the song title! I wasn't excatly sure if it was the whole line "Ain't nobody..." but I figured that wasn't going to look good on a label. My sister thought it might be "Got To Keep On Movin'". I explained that line only became more popular with the Diddy sample....I know! Crazy!

THey play a generous amount of the song, You would kick ass at it but the one hit wonders was only that night. Next week it will be ninties music. It should be noted that the bonus question was General PUblic's "Tenderness" and no one at my table knew it or liked it! Christ! Turns out so many people got it, though, that they didn't give out a special prize!...and at first they said it was English Beat and people started having a fit but the guy figured it out quick.
