I was looking for a ticket to India.Arie in Chicago and first I got balcony and then next I got fourth row in the pit. Do they always do stuff like this? Isn't this just unfair to folks?

I KNOW THE KEY: Instead of selecting "best possible seats" in your request, specifically tell the Ticketmaster clerk (or website) in what section you want to sit (floor).

I heard they try to fill the upper levels in pace with the rest of the sections.

I aim for the floor tix. Trying to pick the best possible seat and to get a floor tix is hit and miss. Like a random draw at times.

I notice you have better luck with tickets when it is a standup comic, because there are always single tickets in the good seats.
