I dont know if many people know this but Bob Marley's son,Rohan Marley has started a clothing line,Tuff Gong...very nice clothes and im lovin the inspiration behind it and the whole idea of it

Marley Family Quality, Nobility, & Timeless

In 1965 Bob Marley established Tuff Gong International, he declared that one had to be "Tuff" to survive in the Jamaican music business and referenced his nickname "The Gong" leaving a legacy and a creative movement we now know as "Tuff Gong". Hence, his son Rohan Marley has created Tuff Gong Clothing which is a part of the Marley Family Companies.

The Tuff Gong movement Bob Marley created is now 41 years old and still moving strong behind the "Roots"and orginality of the family. Rohan has taken his father's inspiration, sense of style, quality and purpose to the next level by creating Tuff Gong Clothing. The line is poised to continue the legendary status and world-wide appeal within the clothing industry. "The clothes are for everyone, for the people just like my father's music" stated Rohan. His partner believes the same, Stefano Aldighieri former creative director of 7 for All Mankind and design director for Levis Strauss & Co. says "While the inspiration is clearly vintage Marley, the execution is modern, contemporary line of high quality garments. We are more interested in Bob Marley's message than simple imagery."

Tuff Gong Clothing collection includes denim, shirts, tees, athletic wear and outerwear. The collection offers a wide range of styles such as jeans, cargo pants, military style jackets and bombers just to name a few. Details include the embroidered Lion which is a symbol of power and strength as well as symbolic red, gold and green used within the frame-work the garments. "The Marley Family wanted to create a timeless collection that reflects my fathers's taste without compromising the beliefs he lived by," says Rohan.

The line is available in stores such as Atrium, Fred Segal (Santa Monica Ca.), and Bloomingdale's.

Tuff Gong, the company has offices in Kingston Jamaica, New York and Miami and includes a record label, recording studio, manufacturing plant and more.
