Really Moronic comment by Vanilla Ice about sampling

OK, we all know the old story of how he swears he didnt steal the Queen beat, Ok i just saw this "remaking" special that he had, i think it was from last year but i just happend to catch part of it on vh1. So hes in the studio with Track starz working on a song, and basically the song is lame, their production is nothing but a few beats and a casio keyboard, but anyway, Ice gets to the studio and he changes the beats that the track starz gave him and one of the dudes says wow sounds a little like "We will rock you" then Ice says wait wait, "I already gave Queen to much money, for nothing but a beat". Is he fucking kidding me, i think i hear, that he gave them 3 million, he got off light if you ask me. I know some people consider sampling an art form, but sorry, if you are taking a hook from a song you pay for it as if you are doing a damn cover, to me if he made $10 off "Ice Ice Baby" he made too much, he shouldnt have made a dime. Shit head had the nerve to make it like Queen ripped him off.

Makes no difference, he built the song around their hook, and then tried to play it off as his own. The fact that queen didnt sue him for everything he had, he should feel lucky

LOL. He's so retarded. I hated that quote where he was trying to break down the difference between his song and the original. He was dead serious. lol.

But, I'm still confused as to whose song this actually was. I'm not a huge fan of the original (or Ice's version for that matter), but I've heard it was a David Bowie and Mick Jagger collabo, then I heard it was The Police, now it's Queen. Whose right? Someone please enlighten me dunce

Remember the Third Bass video for "Pop Goes the Weasel"? At the end they lay the smackdown on some dude portraying Vanilla Ice. Funny sh!t.

I wish Suge had dropped him from that window.

You think that was bad? What about when he got dissed on "In Living Colour"? "I'm Just So White, White Baby." I laughed so hard, I almost choked.
