EVERYBODY get Natalie Cole`s "Leavin`" NOW!! Okay, i`ve FINALLY gotten this album, and it`s everything i thought it would be and more....
She does a great job with every song, and gives us the real Natalie on "The more you do it (the more i like it done to me)", written by Marvin Yancy & Chuck Jackson, the men behind her countless 70s hits, the end is interesting, where she repeat some lines from her signature hit "This will be"; "From now on yeah, from now on...."

I like the newly written track "5 Minutes Away".This song is GREAT and it proves that Natalie really should make an album of all new songs for a change.

Yeah, beautiful song, it could be a single... She should have recorded all new songs, and not JAZZ, she said in an interview that she was bored with that ... [Edited 10/20/06 1:16am]

Well you know I love it. Leavin' was one of the best performances and I love 5 Minutes Away. Even though I'm tired of cover albums I love her spin on every song. I think she should work with Dallas again on an album of original material. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

No,it's the song "The More You Do It,The More I Like It Done".Natalie begins this tune by announcing "this one's for the old school"

Ronnie was an incredible vocalist. His 1977 album 'Love In All Flavors' is one of my favorite albums. The entire album was produced by Marvin Yancy and Chuck Jackson,so it sounds alot like the great music they were producing for Natalie during this period.Trust me,you need to find this album!! Sadly,Dyson passed away in 1990.
