Ndeed! I was really diggin' the new CD!! Much More Raw, Funkier sound than what they're known for... ... " I've got six things on my mind --you're no longer one of them." - Paddy McAloon, Prefab Sprout

One of my favorite bands. I'm going to see them in concert later this week and I can't wait now that N'dea's back.
But I did like Shelter with Siedah Garrett quite a bit. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

yeah the new album is great, but i love their debut album and the "Brother,Sister" album better. Its a great sound for them being back with N'Dea though.
I liked Shelter too. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I liked Shelter too. I don't think they'll ever top the perfection of Brother Sister. It took me about 7 years to warm up to Shelter but it's a fantastic album sans N'Dea. This album is great but not quite the return I expected. Still love it to death tho 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

I think even more than this new album Stone groovy cover too She looked absolutely amazing during this era She should have had at least one or 2 more solos in the years between. Sometimes I wish I were independently filthy wealthy because I would bankroll music projects without fear of whether or not they made returns financially just to get more music from my favorite artists Chaka would have no reason not to get that box set out! 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740

Doggone, you shouldn't have to remind about that shit Can you believe that there're a WHOLE cd dedicated to demos and rehearsals in that boxet and some unreleased gems from the songs she recorded when she was under Curtis Mayfield's label(b4 she and Rufus recorded their debut album)? There's a whole WOLRD of madness in that boxet, somebody needs to rob a bank and release this motherfucker already, goddammit.

they were on tour all summer..... It is old but didn't want to pass up a chance to talk about BNH especially since I had tickets but didn't go to their summer show in my area. I'm so excited to see them again. It's been years and I haven't seen N'dea since she the rounds to support her solo effort. She was pretty damn good too. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

N'dea has one of the best voices live I have ever heard , she is amazing and her enthusiasm totally contagious .
I saw BNH years ago just after Brother Sister came out , it was only a small club and it was THE best gig I have ever been too . Sorry but I hated Siedah Garrett , her voice is like finger nails down a blackboard to me .

Their show was postponed till the 31st! Of course most people didn't know until they arrived at the theater and found the doors closed! I may skip it altogether now 'cause I don't like hanging out late on Halloween and traveling is difficult thanks to the parade. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I just met her randomly a month or so ago. She was so completely sweet and down to earth. I was having trouble not gushing about the voice.
