I dont know if it's the same dude, but even on "Lose Control" years ago, he was trying vocalize like Prince, and he sounded hilarious. Didn't say he can't sing...just saying he should just stop trying to sing like Prince | |

I agree with the thought that it's futile to do a note-for-note rendition of a tune.
But the vocals are tight. Those guys can sing. "Hey, let's do a covers album! Look at what it did for Boyz II Men!" | |

This sounds like a karaoke version. A good karaoke version, but a karaoke version nonetheless. I agree with those that say a cover is more interesting when you don't do a note-for-note copy, but put your own spin on it. I mean, the breaths, the background vocals. . .geez.  | |
