Are you aware that she even had her own TV special in the 70s...around 1978 or so? Bet you'd love to have that on DVD,lol.

Man, I've been waitin' for that special to surface somewhere, I remember watching it when it aired!! I remember that Earth Wind and Fire were her special guests on that show, and she sang hits like "La Costa"! Yeah, I'm dying find that!

EW&F performed a cool medley on that show, and this medley can be found as bonus tracks on the remastered 'Gratitude' CD...but I'm sure you already know this lol

I've been seeing the infomercial on TV and would love to have several of those, especially the later years. I'm going to wait and see if they eventually make it to the stores because I hate ordering things. A lot of these "available only on TV" offers eventually make it to stores.

My birthday was a few weeks ago and I talked continuously about the infomercial to my co-workers, who usually make a big to-do over people's birthdays. I guess they didn't get the hint. lol

Yeah, it`s a weak album, but there are some good tracks, "Who will carry on", "Stand by" and especially "The winner", a strong DISCO song music

Did you see the made-for-TV movie about her life story? If so, is "The Winner" the song that was playing in the background at the party where she and her husband were snorting cocaine. That song was a jam and I've been looking for it but don't know the name of it.

Yeah, good acting, and an honest story. One thing i didn`t understand though is why Cole herself "interrupts" the story and explaining things, several times during the movie, so part of it is like an interview (without a reporter)

I like the way Natalie "interrupts" the story. She gives alot of personal insight and she's really candid.I think it makes the movie much more intriguing.
