Oh you little brat ~ you didn't even invite me!
Have a fabulous time ~ it's well deserved ~ and, we expect a full report. Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

Gorgeous everything. I saw him in NY recently, and he looks mighty fine in those butterfly wings. Loved the show, though I do wish he'd tone down the orchestra a bit. The song he played alone with a guitar was a highlight for me.

the show was amazing!
24 member choir, 8 piece string section, 3 piece horn section, full band, banjo, piano, gorgeous voice, 100 santas and supermen, tons of butterfly wings, seven swans, a rooster...i think that's everything. when i saw him for illinoise, every song was from that cd but one (to be alone with you). this time it was a great mix of records. greetings from michigan, seven swans, illinoise, and his forthcoming christmas box set and a new song with no home yet were all represented. he told ridiculous but hilarious stories and mumbled to himself like a mad scientist while away from the mic...he was totally adorable and showing off his ingenuity with full force.

Wow sounds great! I'm going to see him november 11 in Amsterdam, I hope he does a mix of all his albums too. Can't wait!
