It's no worse that Janets latest crap video. I saw the entire "so excited" video last night and it made me cringe. Janet is so desperate to have a hit that she'll show any body part to get some attention. You would think she could come up with some new dance moves too.

I thought the same thing. I love the guitarist with the fro cause she looks having fun but she was really jamming off of this one. I wish they came in earlier. What was her home? A castle? Doesn't anybody live in a one bedroom and drive a 5-year old Honda anymore?

Beyonce' and her feminism is starting to come off as straight lesbianism for real. Why does she seem to be such a man hater in her damn songs?
And btw...Creole has to be one of the dumbest songs in the history of ever.

It's not man hatin, it's empowerment. A lot of women go through a lot of shit with men and they can relate to these songs. Ask any woman. Some songs are about moving on to the next man too. It has nothing to do with hating on men forever, just the ones they were with, although one may feel that way too, especially when you're still going through the heartache.

Exactly, it's more like a "get the fuck out, loser" song. I see it as a testament to men who mooch off of women even when they're the ones being unfaithful. There's WAY too many of these around lately.

Wow...that's pretty ignorant, ain't it? eek

She's never made any song bashing the male species. Kinda ironic to do that since she's currently in a relationship with a male. confused They've always been describing the characteristics of certain men. And there's women all over the world that can relate to these described situations in the song.

.....
what....
Beyonce' is CONSTANTLY dogging men in her songs. I mean really. I understand she wants to present that "I don't need no man doing for me what I can do for myself" type attitude, but it's starting to come off as straight man hatin'. "You tryflin' good for nothing type of brother",-Bills etc., "Don't have no time to fall in love with you/ no committment from me"-Independent Woman Pt.II,, then in the next song she's talking about how much of a tease she is and how she can't live without "him", and now she doesn't want him to think he's irreplaceable. Goodness. I wonder if some man dogged her a while ago or something...

I'm all for "empowerment" when it's authentic. Beyonce's songs with Destiny's Child were about empowerment. This crap she's sprewing now is just as phoney as her hair.

nah...I'll have to disagree. I think Beyonce (with DC and without) has been pretty balanced. One minute she's getting dogged for singing about catering to a man and now for so called bashing.

Hell, sometimes men get on ya nerves. lol

this song sucks for other reasons. Its just not a good song.

I love the song and hate the video. The song is catchy and she is an eyesore. The beat is funky and her weave flipping is tacky.

You must admit though, her songs frequently have very aggressive, spiteful lyrics. They've always just sounded like ego trips to me. It's all about making herself feel big by making someone else feel small. It's a shame because she has talent, but her lyrics have always seemed very petty to me, but I think that just reflects her overall shallowness.

"You Must Not Know Bout Me"? Okay, Whatever. First of all I hate videos where they have people playing instruments that aren't on the song. Like the acoustic guitar and the acoustic drum set. There's no guitar playing whatsoever on the track, And a drum machine was used, Not someone playing a kit. That being said, I like this song a whole lot better then "Ring The Alarm"
