I am not familiar with them but i barely remember as
a little boy my father had them on eight track. I
heard they were a little funky. Maybe pre average white band.
Tell me a little bit more about them and do they have any
of that blue eyed funk worth taking a listen to.

Here's a funny story. WAAAAAYYYYY back when I was in college (1968) the college radio station had a contest to name the call letters. Of course, my friend and I won with the letters W E E D (consider the times). They couldn't actually use our submission but it was funny.
The prize was a Rare Earth vinyl (wonder where it is now????).
I have an antique business now selling pottery and as the earth/clay from each region in the world has it's own unique characteristics, I named my business Rare Earth Antiques. It's really fun when I do a show and someone comes up and wants to talk about music because the name stikes a chord!
