What's the best song Wings ever released has a single?

I bought a month ago Wingspan in the bargin bin...

I'm loving it!

Still I consider Mull Of Kintyre their best single

Amazingly I just heard that song for the first time. It is pretty nice.

I'm a fan of Silly Love Songs. It shows a great self awarness from Paul.

By Paul I like:

Coming Up
Hi Hi Hi
Jet
Another Day

Jet is my favourite by far - an obvious choice to be sure, but I really think it's the only time post-sixties that Paul achieved the same melodic perfection that he used to so effortlessly and regularly back when he was in the Beatles.

My favorite Wings song is 'Nineteen Hundred and Eighty Five'; it's anthemic, it's catchy, and it reminds me a little of a Beatles song. Other than that, I think even the best Wings albums force you to sort the treasure from the treacle.

yeah me too.. i like the bit in English Tea where he saids "very twee, very me"

that was a stab at all the people that literally said his music was "too twee"

i like that.. he basically said without saying, yeah, I am.. so fuck off.

Let 'Em In is weird. Such a stupid song, but it has that pop something that makes it special & memorable.

Not a bad 'un that, I was almost going to add the wonderful "Coming Up", but it's Macca solo cut.

With A Little Luck & Listen to What The Man Said are well written & catchy with that pop fairy dust sprinkled on them, like Let Em In.

That's why I was surprised I'd never heard it until recently. I don't think it was a hit in America.

Nobody here likes "Maybe I'm Amazed"? That's a great song. I forgot to put it on my list. I'm relieved that someone mentioned "With A Little Luck" earlier.

I think it's because it's a Paul McCartney song, not a Wings song.

Actually Wings released a live version of this in 1976. Given that most wings songs were written by Macca, i think it can actually qualify - but only the live version.

Maybe Im Amazed is possibly the greatest mcCartney song ever.
