Jonny Lang on tour and he's killin' it! I saw Jonny Lang last night (fourth time since 1998) and he kicks ass!
He finally played "I Am". Previously I've been tempted to holler it out as a request, but then thought better of it because it would probably sound pretty stupid yelling "I AM"!  I wasn't expecting to hear the song since he hadn't played it in the other shows I've seen. So, an instrumental starts and I think, hmm..that sounds like a Prince bass line, then he started singing and I about fell outta my seat.
(For those who aren't familiar with his albums, "I Am" is a Prince tune that is on the "Wander This World" album which was produced by David Z.) So, if you haven't had the pleasure of seeing him perform live, GO SEE him if the tour comes 'round you. He's such a 'real' guy, has a good rapport with the audience, is an AWESOME guitarist and....he's all kinds of HOT!!!
