I know many of you dont dig her, but whatever. She keeps it real, and isnt afraid to NOT play the game and say what she wants. No she isnt the seller or star that Beyonce is, but i dont really want that, especially in this day and age with media the way it is, i like how MYA does her thing, has her following and then goes back home and does other things, shes not in your face 24/7 for the last 7 years like some artists. Her album is now out 12/12, on Motown, which right away tells me the promotion is going to have to come from MYA herself, because Motown is about the worst label out there. But they are letting her do what she wants, she built her own studio, hired her own band (who play) and is booking her own shows, her dad is back managing her, and her mom is her accountant, plus she looks hotter than ever, which shouldnt, but does matter.




In case anyone is thinking she is using SEX to sell, one word...JANET....BEYONCE...MARIAH...FERGIE...etc

These are new from Complex magazine, i havent gotten it yet, but i have heard already that the interviewer asked the 50 cent question (are there any good interviewers anymore?) But once again MYA's reply is PRICELESS

Im hoping no one thinks MYA is over reacting, i mean every interview with her since 50 cent said that, has been "are u sleeping with 50 cent?"

Well opinions will always vary, but i dont think Mya has ever been put on a pedestal for her looks, shes had one magazine cover that was a "looks" type of magazine and that was King Magazine. So she doesnt benefit from any of that, where as Beyonce,Janet and others are on every cover and benefit quite well.
