I agree (I don't consider it to be a Wings track).

Given that most wings songs were written by Macca, i think it can actually qualify - but only the live version. Maybe Im Amazed is possibly the greatest mcCartney song ever. YES INDEED! It's my favorite EVER! Wanna hear me sing? www.ChampagneHoneybee.com

I really and honestly truly agree with this Its funny, most of the people who hate on Macca, or crticise his cutsie pop music, have never even heard this song. IMO its perfect in every way, from its melody to its lyrics to his vocal delivery. If you could label it with one criticism its the production of the studio version, but in many ways this only adds to its charm.

Jet
Band on the Run Mrs. Vanderbilt Live and Let Die Wings are underrated... sure they made a LOT of crap, but there's LOTS of brilliant music buried in those albums too... I'm just startin' to discover them (besides Band on the Run, which I've listened to for years and still love to death)...

Should I sue? hehe, yep childhood memories coming up back at that time here in Austria we had one single Pop Radio station (nowadays it's something like ehh... three??) and yeah, Kinteyre was on heavy rotation for sure... still I haven't heard the song in a decade at least I haven't heard it in almost two decades. Thank God. The Frog Chorus was worse though. Dumb-dee-DUMB-we-all-FROG-togevvvva. Sounds like Pete Docherty's smack suppository would sound after a really dodgy curry. Damo, you never cease to amaze me. A Fall fan who admits to liking Macca's post-Beatles stuff. MES is probably regurgitating his pint right now, reading this. Ever hear The Fall's -urm - de(con)struction of Day In A Life? Up there with Sinatra spitting out Mrs Robinson like it was tabasco marinated shit. Good choice with Jet though. Band on the Run's the only Wings album I can listen to without reaching for my AK47 and drive-by byeing byeing my stereo in the blessed name of Elvis. [Edited 10/6/06 15:52pm] Sergeant Pepper Knew My Father! I know that album all too well. I bought it solely for the Fall's version, though there were a few other keepers on that record. Perhaps I shouldn't admit this, but I've always had a soft spot for the Wedding Present, and I thought their run through Getting Better was good fun. Yeesh to whoever thought Wet Wet Wet belonged on that album, though. I have no doubt that MES would peg me as a total sissy and that most of my taste in music would make him sick. He'd be OK with the Can, Neu and Faust, I'm sure, but he'd be sickened by the abundance of effete, pasty indie-rock. [Edited 10/7/06 8:35am]
