Songs so good you have crashed your car to! theAudience said: "They make such bad records that you got to be careful when you play a new tape on the way home from the record store. Their groove is so strong you could wreck." ~~James Brown, on Kool & The Gang In the spirit of James Brown's comment, if you have gotten into a car accident while spacing out into a groove... what album or song made you crash your whip? For me, it was the title track to 24-Carat Black's Ghetto: Misfortune's Wealth.

Am I alone on this?
A handful of times I've almost wrecked, or at least accidently went WAY over the speed limit, due to hot music.

Oh, I made a whole thread on how driving under the influence's of Prince's Black Album should be illegal. I swear, it makes me a crazy person. Going 95, switching lanes like a maniac, with this psychotic grin on my face...

The first time (two summers ago, shamefully) I heard Ziggy Stardust, I was driving through the back roads in Michigan during late Summer/early Fall. The trees were neon in color change and the music transported me to an entirely higher plane (I literally felt like I had taken a mind altering substance). I was unaware of any surroundings until I arrived at a great listening spot in the woods where Gangsta and I frequently go to listen to special works of music. I had no idea how I got there and was very grateful to have not gotten into an accident or hit a deer. But it was the best fun!!!! [Edited 10/4/06 9:14am] Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

When I was younger, my mother, sister, and I were in a car accident while 'Abbey Road' was playing. I'm not sure if the album caused the accident, or if it was the patch of ice we hit. I'm the first mammal to wear pants.
