Genesis reforming for 07 tours

Not sure if this was posted but i just read about this. The later 70's-90's lineup is reforming for tours in 07 of the USA and Europe. Did not hear anything about recording a new album but im sure they will do something. Im hoping that if they do record they go for some long jams once again, even on the albums that had the "hits" they were still jamming away. I know there has been alot of talk on the org about the Commodores and that would be another amazing tour obviously and the same idea would be great for them, especially if they could record together, to go for the funk and not so much on the ballad, but im sure that would be tough. I think the problem is very similar to the Tommy Shaw and Dennis DeYoung issues in Styx, though they did reunite in 95-99, and toured successfully, when they got into the studio the battles between Rock and Ballads raged on, and Shaw and DeYoung couldnt get along, that and DeYoung didnt wanna tour which led to him being replaced, but rumours of them talking again are fueling rumours of DeYoungs return but that is nowhere near confirmed.

It would be interesting to see Peter in there with Phil, many people think that Collins replaced Gabriel, Not true, Collins was in there a little bit with Gabriel. There was some talk of them going into the studio together, but i think the issues are not between Gabriel and Collins, they are between Gabriel and Banks/Rutherford. Very similar to the Styx situation since its founding members James Young and Chuck Panozzo that are keeping DeYoung out, though he was an orignal member.
