A Suggestion For Beyonce...

In my opinion Beyonce is at her best when she does funkier tracks such as "get me bodied", "suga mama" and "work it out". Wouldn't you guys agree? I seriously think she should stick with that sound it really works for her. She reminds me of Tina Turner on songs like those. What do you guys think?

Yeah i have to agree, i dont like the Jay Z collabos, not the songs, just the idea of him on her tracks just takes away. I think Beyonce obviously has all the Tina qualities nailed, the look, the legs, etc... Now i think she should just channel all that into the performances, i know Tina used to go off too, but Tina knew when to tone it down too.

The song that made me actually listen to her for the first time was "Dangerously In Love" so I can't agree totally. I'd just like her to do songs that don't suck ass confused

you think she over does her performances? i have to say i think she's a great live performer. something that most of these younger artists haven't mastered yet. i think beyonce and mary j. are 2 of the greatest live.

I was a Beyonce fan until suddenly I just stopped liking her music.
She's overrated, she gets more credit than what she really deserves,
for example, 5 Grammy Awards for a record that sounds just like
any other "R&B" diva's. Another xample, SHE GETS 2 PER4M WITH PRINCE? Please.
I'm just saying. And I think everyone's getting bored and tired of B.

I think she tends to overdo the dramatics, you have to have that middle ground, i know alot of people used to say Tina was nothing but a "screamer" but when i saw her later in her career, she seemed to find a common ground, she still always had the sex appeal, she could also go off, but she could also chill, it was just a better balance

I know what you are saying but this is strictly a labels doing, they campaign and push what they want to be nominated. Its really always been that way, there are tons of ladies in RB that can do what she does like AMerie, Mya etc..but Beyonce gets the air time, thats just the way it is. I mean things like that always have happend, Diana Ross used to steal the spotlight from Gladys and Donna and Mary wells.

Her biggest issue is that she's on the verge of being overexposed. People are just tired of seeing her country ass. There's a backlash brewing on her bigtime.

She needs another year out of the spotlight. Maybe spend three whole weeks working on her next record. And, as much as I like Jigga, he can get back to working on his post-"retirement" album.
"What kind of fuck ending is that?"

I've seen Amerie, Mya and others like them perform. NONE of them are on the level of Beyonce. She can do it ALL. The deserves the accolades that she receives. The "hate" and "backlash" is from people who are threatened by her talent and success. It's sad that fans of other artists have to tear down other artist to make their artist look better. There is NO female artist out there who can touch Beyonce at the moment. If people don't like that, then that is their problem.

Let's be for real! Prince gained much more than Beyonce by their Grammy performance. Neither the media or public would have given him as much attention, if Beyonce had not been on the stage with him. It not only boosted HIS album sales, it put him back in the public eye. I think you can tell by the sales of his latest album that the exposure with Beyonce helped HIM. It doesn't matter how much you dislike the lady, let's just be honest about things.

There is always a backlash when people are jealous of another's success. Country ass? Is that a pre-requisite for the hate that Beyonce is receiving? Her "countryness" does not deter from the fact that she is a hellavu singer and entertainer. Her new album should win "Album of The Year" in the female category(if Tina Marie doesn't win it). It is that good, that different, that deserving.

beyonce will take time off when she and Jigga get married. Then she will have to have the baby and all, and that's when she will take her time off from the spotlight.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I grabbed a few tracks from ITunes but the majority of the songs were just okay to me, not many grabbed me. I guess anything is better than referring back to her "Bills Bills Bills" lyrics shrug

4 ambicious, untalented people like Beyonce, intelligent, worthy people like India.Arie get overlooked.
Let's face it, Beyonce is fake. Everytime I c her being interviewed I'm thinking "She's so fake." Not cause I dislike her but because she is. And I just read that she said "I am not the girl U c in the videos." FAKE!!!
B should honestly retire. Her legs are so big, they scare me!!!

I think she along with her producers have written some hit songs (yes, I said she and her producers, if Prince gets questioned about how much he actually wrote of his hit songs, Beyonce is definitely suspect).

Regardless of how much of a songwriter she really is, musically and lyrically, I've never heard anything by her and been impressed by the songwriting.

well it's funny cuz she's always going on about not getting enough credit for song writing but i don't think it's even all that great. i mean i guess she's good at coin phrasing terms and making them popular like "bootylicious" for example. I wonder if people will start saying "upgrade you".
