Robin Thicke / The Evolution of Robin Thicke

I was looking foward to this album. What do you think of it?

so how does it sound? is it just plain ole R&B or more like pop R&B? The more I hear him, the more he reminds me of Jon B.

I don't think it sounds like plain ole R&B. He has some R&B songs on there like the song with Faith but there's some blues in there and a latin song. I like the song with Lil Wayne more and more and his slow songs are just drool3 You can definitely get a nice groove going with them.

It's pretty long too--16 tracks (a couple of songs are 5, 6 and one is 8 minutes) but it doesn't wear on me the way some long albums do. If anything I'm glad to know there's more.

It's a little softer than Jon B. in terms of R&B and direct grooves.

2 the Sky is awesome.

Wahday

He's a far superior songwriter than Jon B and has a better voice. I like the album, the pre release was a little stronger though. Dude should blow up but he won't. too bad. he's released 2 stellar albums
