The wonderful world of Bros http://www.youtube.com/wa...uoTf2GfnUI
"i'll watch u crumble, like a very old wall (ooh)" (Guitar solo is better on the 7" mix though) Shep did a good remix for this song "chocolate box" http://www.youtube.com/wa...gvPow58tgc "Drop the boy" http://www.youtube.com/wa...NXPsLkLwlE Matt had a weird adlib thing going didn't he? Different at least. Shep did a killer remix for this song. [Edited 10/2/06 8:19am]

Seriously, "i owe u nothing" is a meltdown of synths and the multi tracked chorus so damn catchy. Lyrically Bros were incredible. "Drop the boy" makes Milli Vanilli sound like Morrissey "drop the bomb, drop the bomb....."

I was way too young for Bros, and living in the wrong country (they never took off in the USA strangely), but vh1 showed me the way. I cant stand "when will i be famous" though. I do own all 3 of their albums, and a couple of 12" and 7" that this lady at a car boot sale, gave me for free Still, the 12" shep remixes were well worth the 0 pence I paid for it.

I never heard the third album, my sis had left home by then. The first two still play in my head during nightmares.

They must have hit the right note in the USA, cos one of the twins, Matt Goss, went off and married Daisy Fuentes, one of Americas hottest, sexiest Presenters!! She was once a VJ for VH1!!

Ur ... no. Not at all. You twisted non-existent words and made them into your own suppository. Bros were, are and always will be one of the biggest turds to have come out of 80s music's butthole. Flush n forget. Eee-YO! Look, I'm sure you never got over them breaking up Pinnochio, and you probably go to bed at night under your Luke duvet and dream of being the hot salt beef in a Mat & Luke bagel, but get over it, mate, THEY. WERE. SHIT. Eeeee-YO! Bet you've got all of Jamie Cullum's records too. Eeeee-YO! [Edited 10/2/06 10:37am] There are three sides to every story. My side, your side, and the truth. And I didn't like them either Bad years for pop, the late 80s Actually, it wasn't all bad - hip hop was wonderful and very vital then, and there was a lot of great non-mainstream music being made too. Is it true that Matt has some song doing really well in the US download charts now? I heard that somewhere. I saw him live supporting Mariah a few years ago and he sang the old Bros hits. Too bad he tried to get everyone to sing along to his new stuff too - took him about 5 minutes of repeating the same line over and over before he realised we weren't going to sing with him

His brother has an acting career now in hollywood i think? Well, he was the bad guy in "blade 2" anyway. I was pretty surprised. Good for him.

My abiding memory of Bros was the fact they used to wear Grolsch lager bottle tops on their shoes as a fashion statement for whatever reason. Oh, and Ken.
