Guns N' Roses - Appetite For Destruction

I bought this album a couple of days ago and..well..to quote the top of my page "people tell me I got no taste". There's probably a reason for this but at the moment I am loving every track on it which is something I can't say for any other album (incl. my P albums) I own (and usually I'm not even into metal/hard rock) . Does anyone else like it/own it or am I still alone sad

Welcome To The Jungle
It's So Easy
Nightrain
Out Ta Get Me
Mr. Brownstone
Paradise City
My Michelle
Think About You
Sweet Child O' Mine
You're Crazy
Anything Goes
Rocket Queen

Appetite is a bloody damn good album. Mr. Brownstone is my jam but there is not one bad track on that album. Enjoy it!

Awesome album.

About the only thing i don't like on it is the last part of "Rocket Queen".

One thing is the music, another is Axl's life!

Great, great album. One of the best of all time, regardless of genres. This sits alongside the best albums ever made. Every single track on it is phenomenal, and, although GNR had a short peak, for this record they WERE the greatest rock band in the world.

Just looking at the tracklist is amazing. Seriously, every song on there is my favourite. It just never lets up, or dips, at any point.

In 1988 I listened to Appetite 3 times a day, the whole thing, every damn day

And then I'd go to my friend's house to jam, and we played every song on Appetite, because we couldn't get enough of it. I never really did figure out the tricky guitar riff to Mr Brownstone lol (Must just be a-c-c#-e, now that I think of it...)

when Izzy went away, I really felt like Guns was dead. I wish they hadn't even put out the Illusion records, though I did like 'Civil War' quite a lot

Nah, I think both the Illusions are patchy as fuck. There are some really great songs on both, that rank alongside AFD's best, but these classics are counteracted by some of the cheesiest, self-indulgent crap GNR put out. Definitely worth getting - for the epic classics they're more than worth it - but Appetite is the opus.

One of the best CD's of all time....

Somewhere out there you can find an alternate version of You're Crazy, I believe it's an acoustic version.

Setting aside all of Axl's problems, his voice was incredible at one point.
Thanks for the laughs, arguments and overall enjoyment for the last umpteen years. It's time for me to retire from Prince.org and engage in the real world...lol. Above all, I appreciated the talent Prince. You were one of a kind.

Fucking love this album. Classic shit, every track on it is a killer. "It's So Easy" is probably my favorite though, then, "Welcome 2 The Jungle".
