Inspiration at it's best.

We'll be waiting for the review.

Let's all do like Pete wrote and "Pick up my guitar and play".....

Here's a little classic "Beck-Ola".

I've never heard a single thing by Holdsworth, but I know he's really revered among players. Does he mostly do the jazz-fusion thing?

Pretty much.

There's one that you might consider...

...None Too Soon

The closest i've heard him get to straight Jazz "swing".

He covers a Coltrane tune (Countdown), a couple by Joe Henderson (Isotope & Inner Urge), one by Django Reinhardt (Nuages), an Irving Berlin piece (How Deep Is The Ocean?), and even a Beatles tune (Norwegian Wood).

I think you might like it.

Love it when Allan plays with a keyboard player so that people can hear his incredible chord voicings.

Just saw Jeff Beck in NYC, it was a great show. Make sure to stop by the merch stand - Beck's selling an "official bootleg" cd for 15$, available at shows only. The disc was recorded on tour in April. Well worth it...

Love Eric Johnson - I actually prefer seeing/hearing him live as opposed to his records (which I like as well). And that "violin tone" of his - beautiful...
