Gospel/Sacred/CCM fans, name your top two acts I'm listening to a mix CD I made years ago, and I'm struck anew by the mastery of CeCe Winans
and Fernando Ortega. Both have wonderful voices, classy music and encouraging music ministries. They consistently deliver spiritually convicting, encouraging music while never coming off as conceited or out of touch. I dig 'em. List your favorite acts (but only two!!!), and you may include choirs and groups.

Richard Smallwood's music is timeless. He's the modern day Tommy Dorsey. He's busy in divinty school, so he hasn't put out any new music in a few years.
I love Kirk Franklin also. Can't really get into his last album, though. Maybe I wrote it off too quickly but it just sounds too...produced? Maybe contrived? It's hard to say since I didn't really listen to it. I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!
