We all know the title track....

BUT has anyone heard the rest of the album? and what do you think of it?

FOOL'S PARADISE AND DO YOU STILL LOVE ME ARE MY FAVORITE SONGS ON THAT ALBUM.

What about the other songs? Are they just "fillers"?

I used to have the album on vinyl (I don't believe it's available otherwise), but I don't recall a lot outside of Do Me Baby and Fool's Paradise. Sorry.

Its all filler, but her take on Do mE baby is a killer, she can make it steamier than Prince did and wow Missy E must have listened to this record!!!!!

"Fools Paradise" is my favorite track on that album, by far...somebody Jay-Z maybe (whoever it was may they burn in hell for the crime) sampled (stole the whole damn song and redid the vocals so they were totally wack and called it something new is more like it...) this a few years back it was AWFUL...JUST AWFUL.

Some critic slammed her debut as a "bunch of Chaka Khan's rejects" but this album(along with Miki Howard's debut and Rene & angela's Street Called Desire hold a VERY dear place in my heart).

Meli'sa is actually the 1st per4mer I ever saw on stage, in person. It was @ the apollo, June 18, 1987,,,my momma took me to see her(I still have the ticket somewhere ).

All the time I thought she wore a fur hat, turned out to be a typical 80's GIANT WIG

But i still dig her version of Do Me Baby, and her collaboration with Kashif on Love Changes.

I have this album on vinyl! Haven't played it in years.The opening song "Fool's Paradise" is nice,probably my favorite track.The ballad "Do You Still Love Me" is another good song.I'll have to play it again and let you know about the other tracks.

Great uptempo tracks are Fool's Paradise, I'll Give It When I want It, Getting To Know You Better, and Lies.

Ballads are the title, Do You Still Love Me, HeartBreaking Decision,

Love te Whole album! Her 2nd album wasn't quite as good but still has some good cuts like Good Love, You're ALl i got, Just For Your Touch
