He also had a hand in the design and promotion of Ford's most popular sports car, the Mustang. He made that quote when people were trying 2 get their names added 2 the success of the Mustang...then again, he also had a hand in the Pinto, and no one was trying 2 get on that credit! Thus, the saying. "Success has many fathers, while failure is an orphan" Actually JFK gets the most credit for that quote, although I think he worded it a little differently ("a thousand fathers". Related to the disastrous Bay of Pigs invasion. But I think at the end of the day it's one of those "author unknown" situations.. p.s. That whole "kissed him on the mouth" thing is kinda creeping me out.

It doesn't matter how "cocky" a person is right if you say you don't care about their personal hangups. If TTD was good it shouldn't matter if he said. His album was better because that is his opinion. Yeah it is going to take a while for people to understand that real artistry shouldn't have to take a backseat to currency. I have no idea why TTD album didn't sell and no one here does either. We can only speculate. If Michael Jackson used his money and influence as an artist to stop promotion on T's album, than that is more than likely why the album didn't do as good as it should. Use your brains! If an album isn't promoted properly for whatever reason it won't sell. If MJ played a part in that, he is to blame! I like MJ respectively but people really need to stop putting musicians like Prince and TTD in the same category with MJ because you can debate this until you run out of breath, but these men are artists, MJ is a singer. It's like a freezer burn compared to cool.

These articles can be found on TTD's offical site.
Hey sucker, thanx 4 the negative spin on MJ, now we all got the opportunity 2 express what a bastard he is, anyweez, since u like TTD's site, mayb u should 've read this in his latest newsletter: 'I support Michael Jackson and his loyal fan base ! He is still the boy wonder of my generation, and he speaks many truths concerning Sony.' www.sanandapromotion.com Guess it takes one 2 know one. Can i 'infer' now u go looking 4 that last ounce of respect u lost? "It's better 2 B hated 4 what U R than 2 B loved 4 what U R not."

Bashers, they're never tired...Like i said before don't believe anything you read.
Excuse me but TTDA never clearly refers to Mj in this piece, so these are speculations as always... And if MJ really did this, why does he offer his support to him AGAINST Sony now, be logical, for damn sake. I'm more keen to believe actual TTDA's statement from his site than an old "pseudo-interview"... Fools.

By the way, I too have absolutely NO respect for MJ, as he has this disgusting habit of picking his nose. (from a plastic surgeon's catalogue, that is). Ha ha ha, that's real funny! Also, yeah, if MJ did do this, what a bitch. I love TTD, and whoooaaah there - kissing Prince, on the mouth? Corrr!

DorothyParkerWasCool said: MJ fans are so brainwashed its sad, they ignore his obvious self hatred i.e. skin bleaching, nose jobs etc. etc. etc. and champion him when he plays the race card as the so-called victim in his dealings with Sony. MJ is a joke and his fans that whitewash his actions are as well.
I kind take offence to this kind of talk always going around as if all MJ fans are mindless sheep of no braincells or all being around the age of teens, not the case - Ive followed both MJ & Prince since the early 80's & see both their faults, and they're 'BOTH' manipulators of the media & system just one seems to be able to play the system alot better. Take a look at the way Prince fans talk sometimes it's like 'Well Prince plays more instruments than MJ so there ... you have no brain or your brainwashed' - sounds like kids in a fargin playground 2 me. Also, this was just a magazine quoting - not even MJ's name and your so quick to judge even without knowing whom the person he was talkin about, I doubt TTD was of any significance to MJ around this time. Practice what you fams preach when it comes to the media and Prince, spare a little thought that the same journalist that makes the petty stories up about Prince could infact do the same to MJ, Madonna, TTD ... etc etc etc the list goes on ... you do little to convince visitors to this board that infact your are not brainwashed when you so freely attack.

Answering your own questions by putting words in people's mouths is very, very unimpressive. But since you have thrown down the gauntlet, with little smiley faces no less (how OLD are you?), I'll answer your question.U have yet 2 do so... Now...u tell me, if u take Michael's name out of the equation, and put Prince's name there instead...would U still b as adamant and angry? I think not...u'd probably b blasting TTD! I'm not the least bit "angry" or "adamant". It's a pretty popular "online argument" trick to accuse people of losing control of their emotions or getting "defensive" if they disagree with you -- it's easy, doesn't require any thinking, and you can usually dodge any point they made.
I honestly don't know how I would react if I heard that Prince had done something like this. One thing I DO know, however, is that I wouldn't automatically DISbelieve it just because I like Prince's music. That's something a child would do.

Just because he said that nearly 10 years ago doensn't mean that he feels that way now. People forget that record labels pit their own artists against each other (divide and conquer with false claims) when it fact their was never any beef in the first place!
I check TTD's website quite often and this is what he has recently said: 'I support Michael Jackson and his loyal fan base ! He is still the boy wonder of my generation, and he speaks many truths concerning Sony.' You can find more on Sananda(Terence) on www.sanandapromotion.com

Gee, once again. busted! Oh, don't like "smiley faces"?...here try this one: I honestly don't know how I would react if I heard that Prince had done something like this. One thing I DO know, however, is that I wouldn't automatically DISbelieve it just because I like Prince's music. That's something a child would do.
Here's what I said brainiac... June7 said: I like TTD, I love Prince...and yes, I have some major love 4 Michael... there, I said it.
Tell Sananda (or whatever he calls himself these days) 2 quit bitching...write some good stuff and he might see 13 million units again... Prince blames terrible radio stations. Michael blames Tommy Mottola and now Terrence blames Michael... I blame all of their giant egos. Now, either u learn 2 read and comprehend, or u should go back 2 ur own former quiet existence... I don't put words in2 anyone's mouths. And talk about "popular online argument tricks"...2 attempt 2 belittle me or my intelligence based on the use of emoticons...well then, u've just insulted 98% of the prince.org population! Nice try... On the other hand, believe what u want 2... I could truly care less what u think of me or my opinions...this will b my last response 2 u on this thread...I really don't have the time, nor interest in prolonging this nonsense. |

The best version of Wildcard is the original free download. Though there are four formats with different tracklistings. [This message was edited Sat Aug 17 16:05:01 PDT 2002 by Essence]
