Thank U Funkpill!! This song was and still is the jam! This song almost made it on the 1977 soundtrack LP "Saturday Night Fever". The director wanted it in the scene where Tony and Annette were rehearsing for the dance contest. But Boz and his people said no (to the movie and the soundtrack).
Elliot Randall (Steely Dan) is the lead guitarist in this clip but counrty-rock guitarist Les Dudek (Cher's ex flame) played the lead solo in the studio version. | |
