Ciara really is trying to take Janet's spot Anybody heard her new song "Promise" yet? I swear she ripped a few pages out of Janet's book for this one. To be honest, I think this is actually the best song I've ever heard from Ciara (which isn't saying much). I thought she couldn't sing at all. I guess she's got a LITTLE skill. I like Ciara. 
I think we forget that it took Janet a couple of albums before she became "Janet". I think she's like a Janet in the making. but remember, I don't mind mindless, sucky music.

I'm already in love with Ciara. I noticed her talent as a dancer
in her first video goodies. No she is not a great singer but damn these days what new artist is. At least she came with something fresh and new. I love the janet comparisons because that is who i immediately thought of the first time i saw her. Just like Janet, I love the way Ciara moves her @ss. Go Ciara!! It's your  Don't laugh at my funk
