lol, Michael is such a huge Prince fan. I think he was jealous of Purple Rain. It seemed like it was what he had wanted Thriller to be. I think Prince fucked Michael up when he declined the Bad duet. Michael was such a huge Prince fan, and then for Prince to say Michael's not good enough for him, really fucked Michael up. I truly think that was his decline. After that he dressed like Prince in the Bad video, got Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis to work on HIStory, he even tried to be sexually explicit on stage with the whole crotch grabbing thing and humping the mic stand and the guitarist when she soloed. In the lyrics of "In the Closet" it seemed like Michael was trying to out-sex Prince or something. He even named his son Prince. Some say it's because he regards himself as a king, and therefore his son is a prince. Some say his grandfather's name was Prince. But I'm fairly certain it's because he has such a hard-on for Prince. It'll be interesting to see where MJ takes his career next and whether or not it bears any resembalance to what Prince has done in the last 3 years to get his career back on track.

There was only one interveiw in which Prince´s name came up that I know of and that was when the journalist was saying to Michael that Prince moved to Torronto where Michael was at that time and he only said "did he?" He seemed that he could not care less. And in one interview Bob Jones said that Prince once visited MJ in the studio during his working on History.
