I'm totally with you tho! I don't know what it is about that song, and Endicott for that matter. They're just from a totally weird, unearthly planet of good. The funny thing is I never got into all his other stuff that much. | |

I was such a big Kid Creole & the Coconuts fan for years. I still enjoy listening to them and all the August Darnell offshoots. They were so original and talented. There is no room for that time of individuality in music today. Everyone is too busy trying to look like, sound like, dance like, whoever's considered "hot." perfection is a fallacy of the imagination... | |

Love Kid Creole. He was doing musicals here in Germany a couple years back heavy on the Coconuts theme, not far from my neighborhood. Much as I love that band though, I'm still stuck on the work he did with The Savannah Band with Cory Daye as lead singer. I still keep all those tunes on shuffle and hlisten to them all the time | |
