...And I don't wanna live this live by Deborah Spungen? This was the mother of Nancy Spungen who was killed by her boyfriend Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols. I have probably read this about five times over the years...if you are looking for a non stop read...get this book...warning this is a very sad book...but incrediably intriguing! I was totally into this when I was in my punk rock stage.

i read it. when i was in high school, EVERY girl i knew had a copy of that book. it was around that time that i was getting into the sex pistols, so i picked up a copy and read it. i think the mother let her notions of the punk rock scene color her recounting of her daughter's story...i think it's damning in certain places where it shouldn't have been damning...but it was a fascinating read. it can't be easy writing a sympathetic book about your daughter when she was one of the most reviled figures in rock music history.
