And thanks. theAudience has a ton of pics that I've never seen of him though. But he hasn't been around that much lately. sad

Did anyone read Roomfull of Mirrors? I liked it because it gave some insight into what made him "tick." Reading how he grew up, really made me feel sorry for him. Does anyone have any other Hendrix biography recommendations?

Rest In Peace, Jimmy James!!!!

I got back From Hawaii yesterday, I just sent this to tA a couple of days ago, concerning Hendrix, his piece of music, and my org name:

"...Speaking of Hendrix, when I was back in Oahu, I actually saw the "Pali Gap"...well, I was traveling the Pali Highway, actually...it was hard to take a picture that would show it, but I found a couple already online that show it pretty well. It's actually a kind of valley that separates upper Oahu from Honolulu, and they get some impressive Trade Winds blowing through there:

woogiebear

Scared the "holy shit" outta England (Townshend, Clapton, Beck, etc.) and wasn't FULLY appreciated by the U.S. until he was GONE. I've loved Hendrix since I was 7 (and I'm 38 now). And will love his music FOREVER!!!!!
