When I'm depressed I usually can't stand listening to mopey, morose music. I'll generally listen to really hard metal when I'm down - Emperor, Dimmu Borgir or Megadeth, something along those lines. I find it very effective for ...errr... clearing up my sourness, I guess I'd say. I usually find I feel much cheerier afterwards.

i like "comfort" music when i'm depressed, which is usually Tori Amos or Neil Young.
