I saw Final Fantasy in concert last night! "Fantasy" was his encore..

He performed with his violin building tracks layer by layer just like that.

He had a girl with an overhead projector moving around art on cellpaper during the rest of his concert which was really great too.

His original work reminds me of strings-only Bjork songs... very percussive and melodic!

That was really cool; he really put a unique spin on that song. One minor note, though,he's only a touring member of Arcade Fire. He doesn't play on either of their albums.

So as the audience is blown away by his performance, there was loud applause and we all quieted down for him again...

Owen Pallett (Final Fantasy) says "Are you guys Ok? Do you have any questions? suggestions?"

Audience member: "What's your middle name?"

Owen Pallett: "Owen"

confuse

Owen Pallett: "No I'm serious, Michael James Owen Pallett."

giggle

Owen Pallett (to audience member): "What's your middle name?"

Audience member: "James"

Owen Pallett: "Oh. Yeah... it's a bad name... bad luck"

lol
